THE HIDDEN EMPRESS

CHAPTER 2

After 20 minutes I reached my personal hell called school and despite my extraordinary grades I have been beaten pretty badly. So to avoid everyone I masked my presence and prayed to the moon goddess that nobody noticed me and the goddess decided to have mercy on me and I went unbothered to my class.

I entered the classroom and everyone ignored me including the teacher so I made it to my seat in the very back of the room. I put my head down and tuned everyone out while my wolf Lyca listened and memorized the entire lesson for me like every other day because she loved learning unlike me.

It was finally lunch and I headed straight to the library and let Lyca take control so she could read because I caught a deer on the way to school and let Lyca eat the whole thing so she was pretty full. As for me I simply didn't eat because I was never hungry no matter how long I went without eating and I somehow managed to stay healthy.

Halfway into the book Lyca gave me control once again because I had to use the bathroom. As I walked to the bathroom I smelled an intoxicating scent of ocean breeze and I quickly followed it as Lyca started to get giddy. I quickened my pace only to see something that made the color drain from my face my mate was Jason Lockheart he future alpha and he was making out with Charlotte on my locker.

I was caught in a daze because my mate was making out with another she-wolf. I was so shocked that I didn't notice Jason staring at me and when I did I saw the hatred and disgust in my mates eyes and the smirk on Charlotte's face. "You have got to be f*****g kidding me!" Jason roared out and at that point there was a crowd forming and Nikita started whimpering.

"I Jason Lockheart reject you Delta Woods as my mate and future luna!" Jason declared and Lyca was filled with sorrow in an instant. 'I have to be strong.' I chanted in my mind so I turned my emotions off. I looked my "mate" straight in the eye "I Delta Woods accept your rejection Jason Lockwood." I said with indifference that shocked everyone so I turned and started walking away.
