It is the beginning of time, and the powers to be have been suppressed by the powers of the Titans for Eons. Long has it been foretold that the Children of Kronus himself would be his downfall.

After escaping his fate, Zeus swore for many years he would avenge his brothers and sisters, and depose their father. Unbeknownst to him, he would create the very thing that would be his own demise.

The Long and bloody war will be more than any of the Olympians can handle, and will come at a cost none of them expected to bear.

This is the Prequel to the Lycanwolf and will be the first book of the series I will be making.

The Beginning
Tantalus had been the first of the Children of Cronus born, and had inhabited his belly the longest. He had watched as dozens of his weaker brothers and sisters decayed in the acidic pit that was Cronus' stomach. As a Titan he had no need of food, and therefore his stomach would hold everything until he puked it up. And since the birth of Tantalus, he had never done so. There were currently 5 of his brothers and sisters with him, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Demeter, and Hera. He watched curiously as a large rock splashed into the pit, and created a safe haven of sorts for them all to float on, preserving their life force for several decades. Zeus POV It had been 21 long years since his mother had hidden him away in the mountains of Olympus, to keep him from his father. Zeus had just been told by the Monks who had been teaching him to use the powers of the world. He excelled with lightning, and quickly outpaced any of those that could stand against him. After being told of his true heritage, Zeus swept away from the Island he had been raised on to the land of his father. Zeus departed the boat that had sailed him across the sea, and he looked up at the gigantic city that made up the Palace of the Titans. Mount Ida rose in the background as large as it could be. He had dressed as a refugee, knowing that the first of his plans required the rescue of his brothers and sisters. He had no clue at first how he was going to accomplish this, other than forcing his father to disgourge his brothers and sisters. He had no clue how many would be found. It was just his luck, that as he approached the castle with the intent of reconnaissance, he was approached by one of the well dressed managers of the grounds. "Oy, you there, how would you like to make 10 silvers tonight?" the man yelled in his slight accent to Zeus. "It would be a dream come true." He replied not belying his true intentions. "Where do ye come from?" he asked as he led Zeus into the grounds servants quarters. "Crete, one of the refugees evacuated from the eruptions." Zeus said vaguely as he had in fact arrived on the refugee ship. "Terrible stuff that, how many did you loose?" the Staff Manager asked. "4, thankfully I was further away at the time." Zeus replied hanging his head as a lady sized him up for the uniform and handed it to him. "Condolonces, but maybe it was the will of the gods. This should fit, and you can change right over there." she said pointing to a changing room. "We have other clothes you can rummage through once your shift is over tonight. Come back and find me and I will set you with the things you need." Zeus walked into what was essentially a closet, but it gave him the privacy to change. He quickly shed the refugee clothes that he had worn, and hud his armor under the suit that he had been put in. He could hear the clamor as the multitude of guests arrived for the grand Ball celebrating the birthday of Lord Cronus. He exited the closet, and the same lady took his tattered clothes and deposited them in the trash. "Name is Bridgette, don't forget to come back here at the conclusion of the ball. I willfind you some more appropriate clothing." she said flashing him a warm smile as the Manager Stephen walked back in. Tonight you shall be the attendant of Lord Cronus. You will receive the bottle from only me, and will ensure that it never leaves your sight. If at any time it does, you shall immediately discard the bottle and send a waiter to get me. Is any of that in any way unclear?" Stephen demanded brusque. "No sir, it is all perfectly clear." Zeus reied thanking his lucky stars. He knew it must be Gaia herself that was guiding him on this mission. "Very good, here are the first two bottles, you will place them on ice behind the throne and be ready to attend to the Lord at his arrival. His glass should never run empty." Stephen said as he walked out after handing him the two bottles. Zeus quickly found his way to his station, and waited for everything to begin. He watched as each of his enemies walked into the room, and mingled as they awaited Cronus in the throne room. He was awed at the fact that some of the Old gods had been allowed to remain free. The stories said they had all been imprisoned in Tartarus, but there stood Gaia, proudly waiting for her son to arrive. As she looked around her eyes went slightly wide for a moment as she saw Zeus. He knew instantly that she knew who he was, and what he was here for. She smiled and hid her reaction as the minutes continued to tick by as they all awaited the King. Exactly on cue, the trumpets blared as Cronus and Rhea descended the stairs into the room. Zeus quickly filled the glass at Cronus' throne, and stepped back to his place just before Cronus stood in front of it. Another person waited behind the throne for him to signal that he was ready to sit. "Brothers and sisters, as well as our mother, it is with honor that we celebrate the 5,000 Millenium of the Titan rule of the world!" Cro us said to great cheers as he sipped from his glass. "We shall rule for many more millennia, and shall not bow down from any threat. Let us ring in this night with all the cheer and merriment we can muster as we have much to celebrate!" Cronus finished as the gong was rung and the dinner dishes were rushed into the room. For hours Zeus ensured that the Goblet Cronus was drinking from remained full, and he finally knew his opportunity was upon him when the Titans started calling for a speech. Cronus handed the goblet back to Zeus as he stood, and Zeus slipped the liquid into this goblet of wine. He took no longer than with any other fill, so no one was suspicious when the goblet was placed on his right again. None of those gathered had seen his slight of hand. "My loyal subjects, and beings of all races. We have celebrated for many hours, and now the night draws to a near. For 5,000 Millenium we have had peace, here is to 5,000 Millennia more!" Cronus said downing the Goblet before turning and retiring to his chambers.
