Chapter 3: "Have you ever been touched?"

4292 Words
I was sitting at my desk, doing my math homework. It was raining outside, so I had nothing better to do anyway…well, I did, but I promised my grandma that I would do my homework (or a part of it) today. I chewed on my pen and squinted my eyes at the numbers on the paper. Was this even humanly possible? No, it wasn’t. My eyes drifted to the window. I hadn’t seen Niall in two days, maybe he locked himself inside the house or I just wasn’t paying attention. Anyway, it didn’t bother me. I was happy to say the least about not seeing him. I pulled my knees to my chest, resting them at the edge of the seat, trying to solve the problem. It was a lost cause. I slammed my notebook shut and grabbed my phone. I had no new texts, and I was glad. Niall hadn’t text me since the last time I saw him. I curled my fingers, suddenly feeling like I was cold. I went to the closet and put some socks on, before I sat at my window seat, pulling my laptop over my lap. I sat there until lunch, when Katherine came to announce that we were having French fries. I ate a bit; I didn’t want to put on any weight this summer. After lunch, Katherine pulled my in her room and sat down on her bed, taking off her clothes. "Wow.” I said covering my eyes. "I need you to help me with my outfit for tonight." "What’s tonight?” I asked confused. "Niall’s party." "What’s the occasion?" She shrugged. “No occasion, his mother is going every week to this book club where grandma goes too, and they stay there until late, so when she comes home she finds a huge mess.” "Oh god, poor Mrs. Devine.” I said biting my lip. "Eh, Niall really doesn’t care. So! What should I dress up with?" I looked at the choices she laid out. They were all slutty. Why wasn’t I surprised? I pointed to the tight black dress that went with her black wedges. She smiled, and pulled the dress on, before turning to look in the mirror. I sat down on the bed and watched her. She turned to look at me. "What are you going to wear?" "What? I’m not coming." "Oh yes you are." "I wasn’t even invited." "Doesn’t matter. You’re coming tonight and that’s that." "Fine." "You’re going to wear a dress I hope you know that." I rolled my eyes. She was getting on my nerves. “Yeah I’m not going to wear a dress.” I mumbled and watched her as she went to her closet She huffed and threw a crop top and a pair of skinny jeans at me. She then instructed me to get one of my wedges so I’d look somewhat presentable. I didn’t want to go to the party or whatever it was at all, but I also didn’t want the whole neighborhood making fun of me for being antisocial. Grandma left two hours later with grandpa, so Katherine and I were alone. She was texting someone; probably Niall. I was chewing on my bottom lip, looking at the ticking clock on the because we had to be there at 9pm, and it was 08:55. Katherine was just finishing her makeup in the mirror while I was plying Temple Run on my phone. I tried to ignore my increasing heartbeat, thinking of what might happen at the party. “Let’s go!” she exclaimed clapping when she finished her makeup. I stood up, wobbling a bit on my wedges. We exited the house and walked across the street. We could hear the music blasting from his house. The garden was filled with people dancing and chatting. I re-cognized a few faces from the beach party. Katherine greeted a few people as we walked up the stairs. She turned around to make sure I was following her. I shot her a fake smile and entered the house. The living room was full of people, and so was the kitchen. I looked around for Kaylee, and saw her talking to Jade, whilst sipping from a red cup. I licked my lips and waved at her. She smiled when she saw me and waved for me to come over. I crossed my arms across my chest and shook my head, gesturing to her that I’ll join her later. I wanted to find a bathroom to check if I was decent. I didn’t know why. “Hello.” I turned around to see Sean smirking down at me, a lit cigarette hanging from his lips. “Hi.” I said blushing. He was attractive and intimidating. “Glad you could come.” he continued, taking a drag out of his cancer stick. I took a step back, not wanting to inhale the smoke. “Uh, yeah.” I mumbled. I coughed a bit because of the smoke. “Do you want a drag?” he asked. “No.” I responded immediately. He let out a laugh, and I asked myself what was so funny. He was looking at someone behind me, so I turned around. I looked up to see Niall smirking down at me. He was wearing a red jacket, a white V-neck that showed his chest tattoos, skinny jeans and Vans. His hair was blonde now, tucked under a snapback. “Were you doing something behind me?” I asked. Both of them laughed, and Niall said: “You wish Virgin Mary.” “What?” I asked, my cheeks turning crimson. He rolled his eyes and brought the red cup to his lips. I excused myself, and walked over to Kaylee, giving up on the whole bathroom plan. One hour later, I found out that Jade was actually pretty cool. She was kind, but she was experienced from what I saw and heard. I stared at the coffee table, at the iPhone that was plugged in the stereo system and was blasting loud music through the whole house. Hannah and Katherine joined us too, and suddenly, the topic of discussion switched to Niall. “Your hair is f****d up.” Hannah observed looking at Katherine. Her hair was indeed messed up, like someone tugged at it furiously. “I wonder who did that…” Jade said, making all four of them laugh. I managed to c***k a fake smile. They found the fact that Katherine and Niall were f**k buddies very amusing. “We didn’t shag. He just ate me out.” “Oh, he’s the best at that.” Hannah nodded and Jade agreed by raising her red cup towards her. “His tongue piercing is amazing.” Katherine continued. “You know when he flicks it over my p***y…” What. The. f**k. I noticed that the party started to die down so I looked at the clock on the iPhone that was still on the table. 11:34pm. I sighed relieved. Finally we could leave. And I was happy, because nothing had happened. I sat up and was about to ask Katherine if she wanted to leave, when Jake came inside holding an empty bottle. He cheered, yelling: “7 Minutes in HEAVEN!” The girls clapped excited, except of Kaylee and I. She bit her lip. I just wanted to go home, so I made an escape towards the door that led to hallway, when suddenly Sean appeared in front of me. “Not leaving are you?” I didn’t say anything. “The best party is when there are only a couple people left,” he whispered in my ear and I shivered, taking a step back. “We’re plying in my room.” Niall’s voice was heard. Ricky, Niall, Jake, Sean, Hannah, Jade, Katherine, Kaylee, four more people and I all walked upstairs, after Niall instructed the people that were left in the living room to keep it down. His room was bigger than mine, just like I expected: naked girl posters all over the walls, the bed was unmade, a TV in the corner and a desk next to the window. His room had a perfect view to mine, and I was suddenly scared. He could clearly see everything I was doing if I wasn’t careful and forgot to close the curtains. Hannah started ripping pieces of paper and writing all the girl’s names on them, before putting them in Niall’s snapback. I sat down next to Katherine, looking around the circle. Everyone was suddenly sober, ready for an amazing game of 7 Minutes in Heaven. My heart was beating fast. I didn’t know why in the world I’d agreed to this…I was inexperienced and if I’d ever get to in the closet with someone, I would be clueless. Then everybody would laugh at me. I gulped and watched how Niall’s snapback was placed in the middle of the circle, containing every girl’s name. “Since it’s my party, I’ll do the honors!” he said and pulled the sleeves of his plaid shirt up, revealing his sleeve tattoos. Everyone watched him as he stared at the ceiling and bit his lip ring, roaming around in his cap. He pulled a paper out and unfolded it. He read the name and looked around to catch someone’s gaze. When he locked eyes with me, he smirked. My heart fell in my pants, and I suddenly wanted to die. No way. There was no f*****g way I was going to go in the closet with Niall. Nope. “Renee.” he read the paper, before stuffing it into his back pocket. I gulped, and everyone was watching me now. “Up.” Sean laughed, pointing his finger towards me. “Come on Virgin Mary.” Everyone except of Kaylee laughed at his not-so-funny joke. I got up and looked at Niall, who was smirking deviously. My heart was beating extremely fast right now. Jake guided us to the closet, showing us his phone, which had the timer already set for seven minutes. All he had to do was to press his finger against the screen and start timing. “Everyone, shut up.” he said turning to the people in the room. “I’ll go and bring some drinks and cups, we’ll play truth or dare and never have I ever next.” I had no idea what that game was, but all I knew was that I definitely did NOT want to be alone with Niall in his room, in his closet, for seven minutes. Not even a whole second. No. Niall opened the door to his spacious closet, those typical American closets in which three people could fit in easily. He motioned for me to sit down first. I did indeed and looked up at Jake who was winking at me as Niall sat down across from me, leaning against the wall of the closet. I bit my lip when Jake closed the door and I heard him say: “Seven minutes start…now!” Then I saw through the thin lines of the closet that he left the room, to go and get the drinks and cups. Everything was quiet in the closet, the only noises coming from outside, where the players chatted. Niall bent his knees and I pulled mine to my chest, resting my chin on them. He lazily leaned his elbow on his knee and took his lip piercing between his teeth. He then let his legs flat against the floor. His ankles touched my hips and he squeezed me with his legs, before he leaned over, gripping into my ankles. He pulled my legs apart, not once breaking eye contact with me. I was going to faint. I wasn’t scared because of what he was going to, no, I was scared because he was going to laugh at me for being in-experienced. I didn’t want to be humiliated. I hated that. He wrapped his fingers around my ankles and pulled me towards him. I was between his legs now, my own legs going around him and behind his back. Our chests were almost touching, and I was sure that he could feel and hear my heartbeat. “Relax.” he whispered. “Do I make you nervous?” I stared at him. “No.” “Then why is your heart beating so fast?” I gulped as his hands travelled along my thighs slowly, before stopping at my naked waist. “I don’t hear anything!” we heard Sean’s voice from outside. Niall rolled his eyes, before returning his attention to me. His eyes drifted down to my lips before he lowered his head to my ear, his lips brushing my ear lobe, causing chills to run all over my body. This was new to me. No boy has ever been so close to me before. “Have you ever kissed a boy, Renee?” he whispered. I nodded slowly, not trusting my voice. “How many?” “One.” I said blushing. My hands awkwardly settled on his waist as he pushed me into the wall. I could feel his bones through his shirt as his face came down to mine. “Good.” he said and his alcohol breath brushed my lips. Then he leaned down and caught my lips with his. His lip piercing felt amazing against my own. He started moving them roughly, too rough for my taste. However, the feeling in my stomach was indescribable. It wasn’t because I like him, because I didn’t, but because no one has ever kissed me like that, and I liked it. He tilted his head to the right so he could deepen the kiss. My heart jumped when the tip of his tongue licked across my lips. I opened them and his tongue slipped into my mouth. I gasped when his tongue piercing rubbed against my tongue. I felt a weird tightening in my core as his hands wandered down my thighs, along my legs and to my ankle, before going back up to my waist. “Seven minutes are over!” Jake yelled from outside the closet, banging his fist against the door. Niall shuffled away from me and pushed the door open with his foot. I ran a hand through my hair and looked up to find a grinning Jake. He helped me up and I blushed immediately when I saw that everyone was looking at me. I awkwardly sat down next to Kaylee and stared at the cups that were sitting in the middle of the circle. Couldn’t we go home now? “Enough with Seven Minutes in Heaven, let’s play something else.” Niall said and took the papers out of his snapback, crumbling them and throwing them away, before putting his cap back on. He sat down in his previous place and bent over to whisper something in Sean’s ear. He threw his head back, laughing. Jake rolled his eyes and crossed his legs, taking a cup, indicating to everyone to do so. “So everyone knows the game Never Have I Ever?” he asked as he poured the whole bottle in the cups. Everyone nodded except of me. Niall rolled his eyes and Jake explained the game to me: “Someone says something like Never Have I Ever walked on the street naked and who has, takes a shot. The game ends when some-one’s cup is empty. The winner can dare the loser to do anything. The loser is the one who has the fullest cup.” That means me. “Okay I’ll start.” Katherine said and looked around the circle. “Never Have I Ever given a blowjob.” The boys groaned and every girl took a sip, except of me. Niall winked at Katherine, who returned the wink. It was Hannah’s turn. “Never Have I Ever had s*x with someone over thirty years old.” Niall took a sip and I frowned. What? He was THAT big of a manwhore. It was Sean’s turn. “Never Have I Ever kissed someone with a tongue piercing.” Everyone, including me took a sip. Niall looked at me for a second before running his tongue across his lips, showing his piercing, not breaking the eye contact. “Never Have I Ever wanted to kiss someone in this room so badly.” Kaylee said and Jake, Ricky, Kaylee, Niall and Sean took a sip. I bit my lip and stared at my cup. It was full. I was going to lose and judging by the score, Niall was going to win. “Never Have I Ever been given oral.” Jade said and smiled. Everyone except of me took a gulp. Niall was starting to creep me out now. He kept staring at me, biting his lip and gripping into his plastic cup. “Never Have I Ever had an orgasm.” Niall’s voice rang and he kept his eyes on me, curious. Once again, everyone drank except of me. I blushed. “My turn!” a girl I didn’t know said and was about to say something, but Niall leaned towards her and whispered something in her ear. She nodded before speaking up: “Never Have I Ever pleasured myself.” I was the only one who didn’t take a sip. Niall gulped and smirked, looking at my full cup. It was Ricky’s turn. “Never Have I Ever been in love.” This time Niall and I were the ones that didn’t drink. I scratched the back of my head, feeling really uncomfortable. “Never Have I Ever got to second base.” Everyone drank and all eyes were on me. I drank too, even though it wasn’t true. No one had ever touched me anywhere. Niall was actually the first one to feel me up. “My cup is empty.” Niall stated and smirked. “Who has the fullest cup?” Jake asked and I blushed, letting out a barely audible ‘me’. I felt ashamed and I hated myself for being so inexperienced. “Well well well, I can dare you to do anything.” His eyes darted all over my body, before he spoke: “I dare you to snog…Kitty.” My face scrunched up in a disgusted expression. What the f**k? “What?” I said. Katherine didn’t seem to mind. She just shrugged. “You know how to kiss right?” Katherine asked shifting closer to me. “Uh…” I said, the tension was too awkward. Every guy in the room had his eyes taped to us. Katherine leaned in and I closed my eyes, feeling her lips on mine. It felt weird and uncomfortable. I left my hands in my lap, not wanting to make contact with her in any way. She tilted her head and ran a tongue over my lips, but I pulled back. Was I supposed to make out with my cousin? No way. Sean whined and urged us to continue, but I shook my head. I had had enough of this party. “I’m going home.” I told Katherine and sat up. My head was hurting a bit from the alcohol I consumed tonight. All I wanted was to go to my room and dive under the blankets, and sleep. Katherine nodded. “Yeah we should leave. Don’t want grandma catching us.” I exhaled deeply, glad that she finally wanted to leave this party. This wasn’t my scene and it’ll never be. Everyone somehow managed to get downstairs and find that the place was dead by now. A huge mess dominated the whole house, and Niall groaned, not in the mood for cleaning up. Everyone said their goodbyes and Katherine and I were the last ones to leave, because she had to suck Niall’s face off in front of me. I awkwardly coughed and scratched my ear, before starting to pa-nic. An earring was missing. s**t, no. Please no. It was my mother’s earring. s**t s**t s**t. “Night Niall.” Katherine said and passed by me through the door, entering the cold night. “Coming?” “Uh, I lost an earring.” “Do you want me to help you look for it?” she asked and I shook my head. “No, I’ll look for it. I think I’ll find it quick.” I turned to Niall, panicked. “Is it okay if I look around?” He shrugged and started picking up trash from the floor. I looked at the clock. It was already 1pm, so my grandmother had to come home at some point. I had to be fast. I ran up the stairs, almost falling over in my wedges. I searched literally every single inch of his room, even in the closet, but I couldn’t find it. Disappointed I walked downstairs, to find him on his stomach, searching for something under the couch. I stood in front of his head; waiting to ask him in he’d found my earring. However, that wasn’t necessary since he was holding the small piece of silver between his fingers. “This what you were looking for babe?” I nodded and stretched my hand out to grab it, but he pulled his hand back, putting it in his back pocket. “If you want it, I dare you to take it out.” I sighed. “Fine.” He turned around and crossed his arms over his chest. I stuck my hand into his back pocket and pulled a small piece of paper. It was the small crumbled piece of paper from Seven Minutes in Heaven. “Where’s the earring?” He smirked and opened his palm. “I’m not giving it to you.” I was angry. I needed to calm down. “Can I at least get a glass of water?” I asked. I wanted something to cool my cheeks. He pointed towards the kitchen before turning around to get his iPhone from the table. I quickly made my way to the kitchen and grabbed a glass from the table, before leaning over the island counter to pour water in it. I drank the water, then looked down at the paper in my hand. I opened it, out of boredom, and what I saw surprised me. Kitty He didn’t even pick my name out of the snapback. Suddenly I felt his hot breath on my neck. I didn’t have to turn around to know that he was right behind me. He pushed himself into me, making me slightly bend over the counter. “You’re a liar.,” he whispered into my ear, sending shivers down my spine. “What?” “You lied at the game.” “You did too.” I protested turning around and showing him the paper, with a new found confidence. His eyes drifted down to the small paper in my hands. He smirked. “And by the way, when did I lie?” I asked putting a hand on my hip. He smirked. “You said that you’ve got to second base. Straight lie.” I blushed, pushing him back by his chest. He didn’t move and inch. Even with the five-inch boost from my wedges, he was still taller with a few inches. “How do you know that?” I stuttered. “Because when we kissed, you were so flustered…so...pure. Don’t lie to me, Delilah.” I gulped, not even bothered by the name he called me. “Have you ever been touched?” My heart race picked up as I stared at him. “Yeah.” “Don’t lie to me.” he repeated, his hands gripping into my hips. I winced, and he suddenly lifted me on the counter, moving so he could stand between my legs. “Have you ever been so close to a guy, Renee?” “No.” I said slowly. He licked his lips, before placing his hands on my knees, running them up to my thighs. Everywhere he touched burned. My hands gripped into the counter. He leaned closer and for a second I thought he was going to kiss me, but he placed his lips on my ear: “If you want your earring back…” he trailed off. “W-what?” “Play a game of truth or dare with me. Five turns each. And you’ll have it back.” No way. No. NO. Before I could think, my mouth opened: “Okay.”
