The Boy Down The Road

I looked out the window as the Uhaul passed by yet again to drop off the new family's furniture down the block. According to all the gossip on the block a new hot boy is moving in from Arizona. he's supposedly 19 and as mentioned before hot. But of course the only thing anyone manages to find out about is the boy. I shrink back into the comfort of my bed no meeting new boys for me.......not after last time. School..... The first week back at school right after spring break is so hectic, as i walk to my locker i almost jump out of my skin when my best friend ran up behind me "girl run up behind me again and watch you don't get smacked" "chill, Tamra lmao looking for a fight already" "no Angela just looking to get to class without a heart attack" she rolls her eyes as i open my locker getting my trig books "whatever, did you hear about the new boy?" "of course i did, its all anyone is talking about tho i have yet to see him" i teased slamming my locker closed. she knows he moved on my block and ill be the first one in the school to lay eyes upon Mr. Smoking Hot as they started calling him. I was mentally cracking up. 'hey Angela don't you have a boyfriend you should be none worried about the new guy" "who said i'm interested for myself, maybe im looking for someone to accompany you" she whispered winking. this child just f*****g winked at me. I slapped her arm playfully , "you know i haven't dated anyone in four years and you know perfectly well the reason why do not try to hook me up!" "but girl c'mon you need to let it go , lighten up have some fun in your life child because i am definitely hooking you up!" "ughh you are so cruel child!" "dont worry tamra I know" she yelled running off to her Spanish class. I cant believe shes gonna hook me up with the new kid. i just dont think im ready for another relationship. Four years may be enough time to get over someone .......not long enough to forget what they did. I walked quietly to my trig class, as soon as i sat down the teacher got a call for me to go to the principals office. I walked to the principals office wondering why i was needed i was never called here before. "Ms. Kings right?" said the secretary,shes been at this school for 10 years, how does she not get tired off this job? "yes" "just sit over there the principal will call you in a few moments" i nodded sitting down 5 minutes later im standing in front of the principal "Ms, Kings ive called you in here in regards to show someone around the school, you have a pass of immunity for the rest of the week so that you can introduce our new student around" "um...ok Mr. Henshaw" he points to the left corner of the room where a boy is sitting down i walk over to him before i can say anything he stands up and looks at me. I see his face for the first time and I stare - why has she stopped to stare at him? what are your thoughts on who he may possibly be to her during this story? -Royal T
