I Can't Believe it!

I wish she would wake up, I've never seen someone sleep so much in my life. Charlie mumbled to herself. Taking a drink of her coffee she strolled to the window to look out at the amazing view. She turned and looked at Hayden when she heard her roll over in bed. GOOD MORNING Sunshine! It's about time you woke up!.... I wasn't worried though, it sounded like you were having the best dream ever! Charlie said with a smile. Hayden opened her eyes and squinted trying to adjust to the sun coming into the windows. What time is it? Yawning and rubbing her eyes she slowly sat up in bed. It is.....12:17 girl, I brought you some coffee and doughnuts too. Soooooo..... here is your coffee and if your hungry the doughnuts are on the table beside you. Charlie said while handing the coffee over. Hayden took a big drink and looked Charlie up and down. Awwww, you look beautiful Charlie! Charlie smiled and spun in a circle..Thanks I thought I would dress pretty today since we haven't seen Aunt Lily in a few years. Well that teal summer dress looks great. Hayden admired the way she curled her long platinum hair around her shoulders an loved the wedge sandals she was wearing...an her makeup was stunning. Well...After coffee I'll take a quick shower and get dressed. Also Charlie I need you to go somewhere with me today before we go see Aunt Lily. Where we going chick? Charlie asked. Wellllll....you know Devlin I've been telling you about? The one from my dreams. Hayden said slowly with a nervous look. Hayden, hun, I love you to death buuutttt...please don't give your hopes up on this man babe. I think that is all he is...a dream. He can't be real, it's impossible. Think about it. I just don't want this to ruin your trip....our trip. I want you to be happy and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he is real. I'm here for you, so if you want me to go with you then I will. Wait? Is he supposed to be here? In Sistersville Lake? Yep!!!! He told me to come to Room 515. Hayden stated with a smile. He also wants me to bring you. If you think he isn't real then how do you explain this....Hayden yanked her top up and showed Charlie the hickey on her right breast. Charlie looked shocked, her mouth hung open and she was speechless for once.......... Hooo...How, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!?!? Charlie screamed. I don't believe in this type of stuff Hayden! I dont understand? My Aunt Lily always told me stories about this kinda stuff...what did she call it......dream walking...yeah .....but I never thought it would be true. She always told me about werewolves and vampires and demons and fairies....but those...can't be real? Can they?  Hayden? .......Can they? I don't know, we will have to talk to Aunt Lily. Hayden said as she stood up. I don't know how to explain any of this Charr, but Devlin said he would explain everything to us. I know with every fiber of my being that he is real Charr. I questioned it for awhile until he told me that you were anxiously waiting for me to wake up, then HE woke me up, I could feel it immediately after I woke up...the soreness "down there" because we had s*x in my dream, then the hickey on my boob. He is real Charr! I know it. Well......get ready girl, let's go meet this man. Charlie exclaimed. Hayden strolled to her an gave her a big hug..Thank you! I'm extremely grateful for this man...Devlin...I'm so happy girl, it's been a long time since I've seen you this happy!  Now....go get dressed. It's almost 1:00pm. My Aunt Lily will be home at 3:30pm! Wait??? Charlie please don't tell me you told her we are here! Hayden said as she studied Charlie's face. NO! I wouldn't do that! I just know when she will be home because she left me a voicemail when I didn't answer her call this morning. She told me she was heading to Yoga class and I wouldn't be able to reach her at home until 3:30. You really think I would ruin the surprise?!?! Ok.....just making sure Charr. I really want this to be a surprise. Hayden said while walking to the bathroom. I'm going to get ready it won't take me long. Ok girl....make sure you look stunning! Charlie yelled. Hayden got in the shower, just rinsing her hair with water since she washed it last night..She grabbed the sponge and put her body wash on it ,she lathered it all over her body, pausing at her neck again ,she felt with her fingertips, the 'bug bites' felt a little bigger. Oww....what the hell? It's so much more sore today. She mumbled to herself. Rinsing her body she turned the water off and grabbed her towel off the hook. Drying off she turned to the mirror and towel dried it. Oh my Gosh. They are bruised now....She said while looking at the marks on her neck. Charlie! Come here! She yelled. Charlie opened the bathroom door and peeked in. What's up girl? Charlie asked. Look at these....they look like bug bites but yesterday ....they weren't that bad....they are getting worse! Let me see chick! Charlie said while leaning in to look. I don't know babe. Maybe this hotel has bugs? If it doesn't go away in a few days we will go get them checked out. Charlie said turning to head back out into the room. I hope this place doesn't have bugs! It's a 5 star hotel! I'm not paying to get eaten by bugs! Hayden yelled. Hayden put her white summer dress on with her white wedges an looked down in approval. After finishing her hair and makeup she walked out of the bathroom. Charlie immediately stopped flipping through channels and stood up with her hand over her mouth. Oh my ............DAMN! You look beautiful Hayden!!!! It great to see you in something other than PJ's! I love your hair and makeup. Her black hair hung all the way down to her butt with the ends curled. I feel alive Charr! I'm actually excited and a little nervous! I just want him to think I'm beautiful too. Hayden said with a smile. No Doubt about it girl.....He is going to be speechless! 

Grabbing their purses they headed out the door. It's okay. Just stay calm. If he is in that room ........play it cool! Charlie said jokingly. I'm really nervous now! What if I am crazy Charr! What if.......Look Hayden. Charlie said while taking her hands in hers.....you made me believe....Now you will go up there and get your man! You are confident and one of the strongest people I know! Get it together babe! I'm right here beside you. OKay...I can do this! Let's go...Hayden said. Walking to the elevator she pushed the button to go up. The doors slid open and they stepped inside. Charlie immediately pushed 5 and the doors closed. I'm okay now Charr......really...I feel more relaxed. It's like I feel his presence....it's weird I know ....but.... he calms me. I don't know how to explain it but it's like he is here..... in the elevator with me. It's a warm feeling...like I know he is close. Charlie looked doubtful but kept it to herself. The doors opened and they stepped out looking both ways to see which way they needed to head. It's this way Hayden remarked. They were counting down the doors, 519 , 518, 517, 516, 515....This is it, Hayden said while reaching up to knock. Before she could lay her knuckles to the door... it swung open.

Hayden jumped up a hugged him as tight as she could. Devlin embraced her and spun in a circle while showering her with kisses. I knew it! I knew you were real! Hayden exclaimed. Devlin sat her feet back firmly on the ground. You are.......stunning! Devlin said while looking Hayden up and down. Well you aren't so bad yourself Handsome! Hayden smiled up at his bright blue eyes. Your a lot taller in real life! Hayden said. Devlin....I'd like you to meet Charlie....Charlie this is Devlin. Charlie an Devlin shook hands. It's nice to meet you. They both said in unison. You are HOT! What are you 6'4? Charlie asked. Your dark hair and blue eyes with the body of a football player s***h body builder...you could be in Playboy! Charlie exclaimed. Hayden just laughed. You will have to excuse my friend she is very blunt. One of the reasons I love her so much. One of the many reasons. Well come in ladies we have a lot to talk about. 

I assume you have a lot of questions? Devlin asked looking from his love to her best friend. I have one or maybe two Charlie said. Is this the penthouse? .....Also....How the f**k is this possible?!?!...And what do you plan with my friend?!!! That....my dear girl..is three questions ...Devlin said smiling. First ...yes this is the penthouse..Second....it is possible because there are many things that humans do not know. There are some that know alot about many different things. I don't want to just come out and tell you everything without talking to Hayden alone first. Third....I hope to marry your friend. I'm very much in love with her and I'm hoping that she shares those feelings. Devlin said while staring at Hayden's beautiful green eyes. You keep saying "Humans"? What do you mean by that? Hayden asked nervously. My dear love, I would like to explain everything to you. That's if you will follow me to my room. After we have spoken and you feel comfortable with it, you may tell your friend. If you choose too. I will not interfere. I trust you and therefore trust your judgement. Charlie you can make yourself comfortable, grab yourself something from the bar in the kitchen....watch tv... whatever makes you comfortable. Devlin said as he took Hayden by the hand to lead her to the bedroom. 

Here my love...get comfortable...sit wherever you like. Devlin said while sitting on the quilted bench at the end of the massive bed. Hayden sat right next to him. I still can't belive it Devlin...I'm so happy you are really here. My dreams really are coming true. She said laughing. Devlin leaned in to give her a soft kiss. Hayden responded by throwing her arms around his neck and leaning against his chest an gave into the kiss. They both pulled away breathlessly. I love you beautiful. Devlin said. I really need to tell you everything...and please..don't say anything until I'm done..this is really hard for me...I've never told anyone about me and....I trust you Hayden. I love you too Devlin... Hayden whispered. You May want to wait until you have heard everything. Devlin said with caution in his eyes.

Yes...I'm sure...I want to give us a try...I'll explain everything to Charr. I'm sure she will support any decision I make. We are like sisters. Do you need to feed now? Hayden asked shyly.

I can't feed on you right now baby...it's too soon.  Unless you want me to change you. Devlin said 

What do you mean? Hayden asked curiously.

I can change you into a vampire...I would feed from you until you were close to death then I would give you some of my blood.Devlin said cautiously.

Wellll...that is something to think about but I think I'll pass at the moment. Hayden nervously laughed it off.

I love you beautiful...the way you are..I'll wait for you as long as you need me too. I want us to be together anyway you want. Devlin stated.

I love you too......and we will have plenty of time to talk about this...but....I think we need to go out there and explain everything to Charlie.  Hayden said. Okay beautiful one more request.....can I have another kiss before we go? Hayden leaned in to give him what he wanted....

Walking out to the living room with the biggest smile on her face hand in hand with Devlin..she noticed there was a bottle of strawberry vodka and red bull on the coffee table. Yep Charlie has been busy. You don't tell Charlie to get comfortable if you don't want her digging through everything in here Hayden said laughing. Charlie is one of a kind. Just as she said that Charlie came dancing around the corner from the kitchen with her earbuds in..... singing ...a full cup in her left hand and a sandwich in her right. What??!?!?! Why are you two love birds looking at me like that....He told me to make myself comfortable! Wanna drink Hayden? This strawberry vodka and red bull is amazing! yep...your buzzing Charlie...why don't you give me the drink and you finish that sandwich...let the bread soak some of that alcohol up. Hayden said as she took the drink and took a big sip...hmmmm that's good. Charlie took  a bite of sandwich...Iknoooowrighht??? Hayden just laughed at her friend. Devlin maybe we should wait until she is sobered up a little before we tell her? Devlin nodded his approval and kissed her on the forehead. Tell me what? Charlie slurred. I'm not drunk! I've only had two drinks! Hayden you know me! You know I'm not drunk...... Okay ....but you can't tell Anyone...I mean it Charr...noone ! Not even Aunt Lily. Hayden said as sternly as she could. I promise sister.! Between us...I won't tell a soul.!.! So Hayden and Devlin sat down beside her and told her everything. 

EVERYTHING I'VE EVER BEEN TOLD ABOUT VAMPIRES AND WEREVOLVES IS TRUE!!!! Charlie yelled.

SHhhhhhhhhh!....Charlie you have to calm down! Devlin said.

My God!! ...this is got to be a joke...right Hayden? ...jokes on me??? .................Ok I'll get it together. Charlie said after seeing the heartbreaking look on Hayden's face. Ok babe...I'll pull it together........ for you. I'm just a little shocked is all...I'm fine...shewwwww...it's been an interesting day. Hahahahaha and it's only 2:30pm! Wow!!!!. Charlie said sarcastically. It Will be okay girl...He is here to protect us. He says there are werewolves in Sistersville Lake. He says if it's the same Lily that we are talking about....then he already knows her... He may know Aunt Lily Charr...that means everything she told you about vampires and werewolves growing up...were not just stories to get us in line........They were all real! Aunt Lily has a lot of explaining to do when we all get there. Hayden questioned. Wait? He is going with us to Aunt Lily's? Charlie looked at Devlin with an amused look on her face.....Well if you think I'm a handful.....you are going to really love my Aunt Lily...she is twice the "crazy" I am! Charlie smiled at Devlin and then looked to Hayden for confirmation. Hayden just nodded smiling like she just won the lottery. Devlin looked to both ladies and said.......Ladies ..I already know!
