He licked the back of my ear, which sent shivers through my spine. I heard him groan and my knees trembled, “Moongoddess, you taste so sweet.” My cheeks were burning. I feel hot and I keep wanting something… to pound on me... His words and his actions differ greatly. Making me confused and dizzy.

"Careful with the cute girl, Rein." The brown-haired guy’s hands are iced cold. My eyebrows furrowed.

Rein's eyes are shooting daggers towards us. The dude stared at Rein mockingly, i cannot deny how gorgeous. Both of them are.

"Get your hands off of her, Braum." His voice is menacingly cold. My mouth gaped at him, shocked at the way Rein's eyes changed color from black to gold. His muscles are tensed and his veins are showing. The girl at his back took a step back, scared by the tension building in this four-walled room.

"Being protective now, aren't ya?" the guy mockingly said. I removed his hands on my shoulder and took a step forward. The position is quite awkward.

I couldn't utter a single word, confused about how they treated each other. What happened to both of them to warrant this reaction?

I turned my back on them but I immediately looked back when I heard foot-steps and a loud crash which sounded like there was something thrown at the window.

Rein is gone but there are scattered glass on the floor and the window is broken. I walked towards it and was confused as I saw Rein running from us. How the f**k does he do that?

"He's going to be fine. Don't worry about him." He put his hands in his pockets, bored.

"Dude, he f*****g jumped out of the window, how am I supposed to react to that?"

To my surprise, he smirked and walked towards me. I glared at him and did not back down. "You'll be surprised more if you find out what kind of school this is."

I raise an eyebrow at him, cursed his gorgeous face. I couldn't concentrate with his face close to mine. Everything is not normal here.

"What's with this school?" Why is everything so weird? Why is Ethan reacting that way?

He lifted my chin and his face is too close for my liking. I angrily smacked his hand away from me. “Don’t play me for a fool.”

"Feisty little creature," he mocked.

"Stop fooling around. Just answer my goddamn question." I have a very thin patience with these kinds of people.

"Why don't you find it out yourself since you're too curious?" He leisurely leaned on the locker and took a pack of cigarettes and pulled a stick out. He lit out one.

"I wouldn't be this curious if you didn't - damn it." It's useless to put the blame on him. He wouldn't even answer any of my questions. I turned my back on him and I was about to leave when he spoke.

"Come with me to Bea's party." He smirks. The smoke he blew dissipated in the air.

"Why should I?” Who knows if this fucker is a serial killer?

I heard him chuckle, "You’re quite distrusting, aren’t you?”

I let out a chuckle sarcastically, "Am I supposed to trust you then? You’re sus."

He threw his cigarette in the trash bin, "You want answers, right?"

I clenched my jaw and contemplated whether to follow him to the party. "When is the party?"

"This coming Friday. I'll fetch you at your house." He turned his back on me and walked towards the door leading to the field.

"You don't know where I live, moron," I shouted.

"You're the new girl and your scent smells so good, you're not that hard to find" he murmured a few words. I scrunched up my nose. The f**k is he saying? I barely heard his words.

Friday night came. I was wearing a black dress and my three-inch stilettos. I brought my purse with me. I waited until I heard an engine stop in front of my house. I heard a knock. I walked towards the door and opened the knob.

There, I saw Braum looking gorgeous with his leather jacket, dark pants and V-neck t-shirt. His eyes roam all over my body, adoration is written in his eyes.

"He'll probably get jealous," he murmurs.

My eyebrows furrowed and my lips formed a thin line, "Who will get jealous?"

He smirked, "No one." I rolled my eyes at him and decided to drop it off.

He opened the door of the passenger seat for me. I raised an eyebrow at him but slid into the passenger.

Bea's house is filled with people and cars parked on her backyard. We're welcomed with the full blast of music and people grinding with every beat of music. Some were making out on the couch.

I hide my embarrassment with a blank face. I felt Braum's hand wrapped on my wrist and led me on a group who were having a great time playing "never had ever".

Bea, the curled blonde who was walking towards us greeted us with a smile. "I thought you're not going to come," Her eyes were directed to Braum, who was smirking at her, "I'm with Anna."

"She's the new girl?" Her eyes widened and gave me a bigger smile.

"We will join you later, Bea." Braum's voice is husky as he eyes Bea with affection.

Bea's lips pouted childishly. "Oh, alright." She turned to me and smiled, "Enjoy!"

My eyes wander around but there's no sign of Rein or his group's presence here.

We went out of the house, but I can still hear the loud music. Braum's fingers went to the side of my neck and I jumped, surprised at what he did. He's smirking while my eyes are wide. "What the f**k is that?"

My hands went up to my neck and felt something wet on it. Blood? This little s**t! What is he scheming?

"Come with me." He urged me to follow him.

"Where are we going?" Confused and tensed. I swear if he does something to me, I won’t hesitate to kill him. Kill him? Why did it seem so easy for me to say those words?

"I'll show you what kind of creatures the academy has."
