The Journey Begins

Michelle’s  POV

I and my best friend Cheyenne where practically sisters, they’ve been friends since birth. Our parents are the head of the kingdoms they rule all of the lands. The head witches and warlocks are best friends since their youth. They began their rule 260 years ago and have been together ever since. 

I and Cheyenne are in my room talking about tonight’s ball we were sooo excited about turning 18 and finding our mates at the ball tonight we were making plans on going to the mall to find our perfect dresses for tonight. I would be ascended to the most powerful witch in all of the lands. My mate would become the first powerful warlock in the land once we’ve completed the mating bond. Cheyenne and I were talking about all the clans and packs that would arrive tonight Cheyenne was excited about see the dragons. While I was excited about the fairies that’ll be there. I’ve never seen one in person, but I heard they were the most beautifulest creatures in our kingdom. Cheyenne asked me what does she think her mate will be like. I wasn’t sure I just knew that I wanted some strong and brave and very good looking. 

Cheyenne wanted someone that was as strong as her and a great fighter. Just as we were talking there was a knock on the door stopping their conversation, I called for the person to enter. My mother Gennean entered the room My mother was very beautiful and graceful she sat on my bed and asked us what we were talking about. Cheyenne said our mates Gennean giggled with excitement, I know you too will make wonderful wives and mothers one day. Gennean asked us two have we decided on what we’ll wear tonight? We looked at each other and said in unison no we are going to the mall in a few. My mother looked at us and asked what are you two waiting for get a move on before you know it. It’ll be time to welcome our guest into our home, we laughed and jumped up and headed for the door as my mother giggled and walked behind us.

We hopped into My 3025 Mercedes Benz push to start. I had gotten it for her 16th birthday and the girls were off to the mall. It took them 30 minutes to get there I found a parking spot closest to the door. The girls get out of the car and continue talking about their futures and their mates as they walk thru the mall’s doors. They came to a dress boutique and start to look for their gowns for the ball. I and Cheyenne both picked out three dresses a piece to try on Cheyenne was the first to pick out her dress it’s a beautiful floor length dress that was embedded with gold thread and gold flakes in the train of the dress and had diamonds Sewin into the corset and on top of her breast she looked at herself in the mirror in awe she looked so beautiful in it she had to get it. 

Just then I walked out of the changing room and Cheyenne’s attention went straight to my dress, she couldn’t find the words to say the dress was gorgeous. It was a blood red crimson color that had a long vail train that came from the shoulders of the dress. It had black and red diamonds Sewin in to it and in the front was diamonds embedded on the corset and on the sleeves that were see thru and two spilts on both sides up to her mid thighs. I asked Cheyenne what do you think? Cheyenne told me that the dress was so perfect it’s like it was made for you. Michelle blushed and giggled and told Cheyenne thank you, just then Michelle looked at the dress Cheyenne had on and was blown away by how beautiful she looked in it the color went great against her skin. 

I said that is the dress no need to try on the other ones! They girls changed their clothes and went and checked out. Cheyenne said ok we got our dresses now we need the shoes and jewels to go with them. The girls walked in to a jewelry store and found the matching diamond earrings, necklaces, and hair pieces to compliment there gowns. Next were the shoes they picked out pencil style stilettos that where the same color as their dresses. Michelle said finally finished in starving let’s get something to eat. Cheyenne said I don’t think we should we should wait until we get to the house im not feeling too comfortable anymore we’re done shopping, let’s go back to the castle.  Michelle looked at Cheyenne knowing she had the power to sense darkness and danger from miles away. Michelle said ok while looking around to see if they are being followed. The girls started walking towards the car bags in hand. The girls put there stuff in the back seat of the Mercedes and hopped in the girls were getting ready to head out when just then a man appeared out of no where in front of them. 

He stared at them with dark hooded eyes. He went to advance towards the car ,but Michelle was too fast for him she pulled out and sped off in fear. As they were driving Michelle called her dad and told him what happened. He said hurry and get home so we can discuss this further. It took the girls 10 minutes to reach the borders of the castle. Once inside they hurried to Michelle’s father’s office. Michelle’s parents as well as Cheyenne’s parents were waiting for them inside. That is when the parents told the girls the news the whole kingdom has been hiding. 

King Julian’s POV

King Julian started to tell the tale of 260 years ago the too alphas with the same mate. One wasn’t the fated mate he was a chosen mate. So why is he seeking revenge Michelle asked? Her father answered, because alpha Steven’s father was the one to lock him up and laid the law for the werewolves in our kingdom. We feared this day for a long time.  We knew none of our witches would be dumb enough to help him escape. We’ve kept a close eye on his prison to make sure. We are afraid that we may have understand estimated him. We heard word from alpha Steven that there has been activity at the prison. An that there might be an attack tonight! We have tripled our security and some of our neighboring packs are also helping in patrolling our Borders. So no one that doesn’t have an invitation we be permitted on our lands. Michelle asked her father do you think anyone can get their hands on the invitations dad? He replied no there is a hidden message that can only be seen by us and our royal Guards. There is no way to make a fake one we’ll know. So you girls don’t need to worry yourselves. Let us take care of this and enjoy your birthdays. With that said the girl left the office to get ready. They stayed to discuss the possibility of an attack and where they needed to have strong defenses up on the north, west, south, and East sections of the kingdom. King Julian told his wife to do a protection barrier spell that way it’ll be a fail proof way to stop any uninvited people. Gennean got to work on the spell while her best friend Ginger worked on a protection charms for the girls. Ginger could see the future and confined in her best friend she know who Michelle and Cheyenne where fated to be mates too. An that put the girls in danger especially Michelle after tonight.

Kevin’s POV 

Kevin just got out the shower and was drying off when he received a mind link from his father that he had 1 hour to be ready. Kevin quickly got done brushing his hair and putting on his cologne. Kevin brushed his teeth and got dressed. It wasn’t even five minutes later he received another mind link from his future beta telling him to get to his fathers office. Kevin hurried to the office and knocked on the door. Come in the alpha said kevin said father you wanted to see me. Yes replied the alpha we have news that there might be an attack attempted tonight at the ball. We just received word from the queen and king themselves. They have taken all measures to protect everyone tonight but we must stay alert on our journey there. Kevin asked do we know where the threat is coming from and who would wanna attack our lands. Alpha Steven and his beta jack looked at each other and nodded, they looked at kevin and said yes we do know who it is.
