Colby immediately shifted back to his human form and rushed to Ian's side.
"Damn it, Colby. You should have just told him what you were first." Colby whispered venomously to himself.
Gently taking his mate in his arms, Colby lightly patted Ian's cheeks, whispering, "Baby, come on. Come back to me."
Ian moaned as he moved his head side to side.
Colby's distress increased as he tried to get Ian to come around saying, "How f*****g stupid can you be, Colby? Now he’ll think you're an i***t and never want to be your mate."
"Not true." Ian mumbled as he opened his eyes.
"Oh, thank God!" Colby sighed in relief.
