Chapter 1 The Beginning

Shai opened her eyes, waking up from her slumber,
She notices that Eurus is asleep next to her with a blanket on them, She carefully gets out of the hospital bed,
"Shakes off the sleepiness Shai," Shai thought
Shai walked around before stumbling on her toe, she let out a curse under her breath and then looked back to see Eurus still asleep, Shai sighed in relief before going over to the door,
"There's no doorknob, how do I open it," Shai said
She looked around for something that might help her open the door, however, she knew that something was watching her, she popped up behind Shai without her knowing
"Hello, I'm here to help you," Claire said
Shai raised a brow,
"Mistress said if you ask anything about this dimension, to answer your question," Claire said honestly
"That's nice of her," Shai said in deep thought,
"What is wrong, miss Aqua?" Claire said
"Have you ever wondered, what you are called to do something, that you don't know anything about," Shai asked
Claire takes a few minutes before answering,
"No, I have not. I was made for the basic help of mistress, I have no other reason to serve here," Claire said
Shai hears the tone of her voice and not wanting to ask Claire, decides to look down at her feet,
"But I always wanted to sing. If that makes you feel better," Claire said
Shai smiled at Claire while shaking her head,
"You don't have to say that to make me happy, thank you. That's very kind of you," Shai said
Claire blushed at her,
"Who knew that was possible," Claire though
She will remember that,
"Thank you, Shai now would you like to get out of this room?" Claire asked
"Yes, that would be lovely," Shai said
Claire nodded and opened the door,
Shai was disheartened but moved forward,
"Now what you may see might terrify you, maybe even shock you,
so be prepared," Claire said
Claire followed Shai up the stairs,
"From what I have already heard,
it must be disastrous from what Judy said," Shai said
Claire opened the door to the main floor,
"Here is the kitchen, Miss Aqua," Claire said
Shai walked deeper into the kitchen, seeing it clean and high-tech, But the lights were on.
"This is not what I expected, not that I am complaining," Shai said
Claire scuffled a chuckle before explaining to her,
"Indeed, but all is not what it seems, miss Aqua, what has happened here was a disaster, eugenics mad men and women decided to try and kill most of the population, first,"
"Can we talk about this later Claire,
I want to absorb what I have already heard," Shai said stressful
"Of course, sorry miss Aqua," Claire said
"It's fine, we will talk about it later," Shai said
"This way to the living room," Claire said
Claire opened the door for Shai to walk into the living room, the windows were covered in metal sheets, while the rest of the room was the modern style for a living room,
"Wow, this is better than my living room," Shai said
Claire chuckled,
"Is it modern, isn't it,"
Shai nodded,
"Do you want to see the rest of the house? Miss Aqua," Claire asked
"Yeah that is for the best, do you know what time it is?" Shai asked
"It's seven, but if you are still sleepy I can lead you back to the lab," Claire said
"Yes, that would be nice," Shai said
Shai followed her back to the lab with her thoughts running through her head, eugenics madmen? What happened to this world that would cause this to happen?
"Ok, miss Aqua, would you like something to eat before you rest?" Claire asked,
They entered the lab while Claire watched her lay down Shai wanted to hear something, she just didn't know if Claire would agree,
"No, but can you sing for me?" Shai said
Claire smiled excitedly,
"Yes, you can go get comfy, and I will be there soon, I have to wake up mistress," Claire said teleporting away,
Shai smiled before turning around, her mind came at ease almost to sleep until,
"You know, I have never seen her like that before," Eurus said
Shai flinched not noticing him,
"Hi, I didn't know you were awake," Shai said sheepishly,
"Yeah, all I noticed was it is colder in here than what it was," Eurus said
Shai nodded and sat next to him,
"Claire showed you around?" Eurus said
He looked at her and noticed she was already trying to sleep, Eurus smiled at this before sitting up until
"Little Eurus, mistress wants you to make breakfast," Claire said
Eurus sighed,
"Ok, I will do it," Eurus said
He covers Shai in a blanket,
"Claire, make sure she stays warm," Eurus said
Walked out the door,
"Yes, Little Eurus," Claire said and started to sing,
Shai went off into her dream,
"Shai you need to get up," Judy said pushing lightly on her shoulder,
Shai opened her eyes and looked up at her,
"Hi," Shai said got out of bed also grabbed the blanket, and wrapped it around her,
Judy nods and walks out of the room with Shai walking behind her,
"Claire told me that you wandered around the house, do you like it?" Judy said walking into the kitchen,
"Coffee or tea?" Judy asked
Judy pulled out a cup for both of them, Shai walked over to the chair by the counter and sat down,
"Tea, please yes I did it's quite modern...it reminds me of my apartment," Shai said
She remembered how the warm feeling consumed her when she entered and the smell of the rain-scented candles around her home,
"Shai? Are you listening?" Judy asked worriedly,
Shai looked back at her startled,
"Sorry, I was just... In my little world," Shai said apathetically,
"That is fine my dear, now are you curious about this world you are in?" Judy said
Shai nodded, Judy sighed and grabbed a tablet and put it onto the counter a bright blue light shone in the room words cater across the room, documents, laws, weather patterns, new electronics, and medical data, at their disposal, Shai looked in awe,
"Go ahead and see for yourself. I will be here if you need anything," Judy said leaning on the counter,
Shai stared at the surrounding information, there was too much for her to choose from, but one caught her eye. The documents that showed up first, Shai touched the document it opened multiple articles, pictures of riots and destruction, people falling dead on the ground, monuments that say it wants deportation of the human races,
"Shai, dear you are shaking," Judy said walking up behind her,
Shai looked back at her, not noticing herself shaking, she grabbed a document but before she could read it a video popped up,
"I have watched my AI. For three days, it acts as we do," a lady said
She moves away from the camera to show a human-like AI,
"Herman hand me the glass of water will you?"
The AI lifted his hand it hovered in the air to her, she smiled as the AI placed it in her hand, and she nodded at the AI,
"Good job Herman,"
She glanced behind her at it, before turning back to the camera and turning it off,
"That was The Creator of the AI," Judy said
Shai looked back at her before a notification rang through the room, another video popped up in front of her, Shai looked at it hesitant not knowing what she would see,
But she felt a comforting hand on her shoulder,
"Whenever you are ready dear, you don't have to do it today there is always tomorrow," Judy said
Shai nods and touches the video,
"Hello, my name is..." The video glitch.
Shai looked back at Judy, she shrugged,
"This is wildly different. he's different, he can go past the best hackers and destroy what they made and rebuild it again."
She takes a deep breath and runs her hands through her hair,
"I have to help him. I can't breathe knowing what they want from him. I will show all the documents that show how they twisted him. and how the changed him to act, there are more robots they are building that are built to make us obsolete,"
Shai saw the emotion in the woman's eyes.
"I don't know how to change him back, it's been acting more volatile to humans, it tries to purposely turn off the power to the building for weeks, we almost leaked from the lab, and the governments are watching us now just cause of... I need to take a break,"
She turned off the camera,
Shai looked at a video that had an encrypted link to it. She clicked the link but nothing happened, she turned back to Judy, who was sipping her coffee,
"Do you want to continue?" Judy said nonchalantly,
"Yes, I want to continue," Shai said determined,
Judy smiled at her determination, she started at Shai. A resemblance of what she had came to her mind, a bright-eyed woman who wants to know how to stand life itself, Judy grabbed the tablet and started to decrypt the encryption, while Judy did that Shai sat back on the chair dizzy,
"Honestly, I have done a lot of decrypting, this one is different from the ones I always do. It will be done soon," Judy said excitedly
Shai shyly chuckles,
Judy started to play the video, it shows the woman's distress tears falling on her face a bruise,
"They took......"
She's breathing heavily, looking at the camera with desperation,
"They have him now, I tried all I could to get them away from him. But it's too late. I know what purpose they have for him... To kill us all off.,"
She looked at her door hearing a knocking coming from it. She yelled for a moment before coming back into the screen.
"I don't have much time now, they want to have a talk with me after this."
She heard the door open with a slam. Her eyes widening at first as they to the camera, she yelled out at them before the camera went black,
Shai looked away from the video, as the blue light in the room disappeared, Shai shook up put her tea in the sink,
"Can I take a shower?" Shai asked
She lowered her glazes to her feet,
"Of course, dear, Claire," Judy said
Judys worried about the girl, Claire showed up behind her,
"Yes mistress," Claire said floating around her,
"Take Miss Aqua to the shower," Judy said
"Yes, mistress," Claire said
Appearing before Shai and motioning her to follow her,
"Right this way Miss Aqua," Claire said
She floated in front of her, showing her the way,
