The Darkness

Gianna POV-          I woke up, and got dressed and ready for the day. I couldn't remember much of last night, or even the night before. I'm not quite sure how I got home and into my own bed but, at least the odds were in my favor.      I feel different somehow, I can't quite understand or put my finger on it, but I was different today. Maybe it was a good thing, I'll make the most of it. I looked in the mirror at myself, my black wavy hair went down past my breasts. I had on a black Nike tee, the swoosh was red and the brand name was white, I decided on some black leggings and my black Nike shoes. My dark, big brown eyes were looking right back at me in the mirror, they looked empty almost.....almost.                 I shook it off and grabbed my purse, then headed down stairs. I passed my mom on the way out the door, and stopped. I looked at her, she looked sad          "Que pasa mamá ?" I asked as I walked over to her. I placed my hand on her shoulder, my eyes never leaving her. She just ignored me, I guess she didn't want to talk about it. "te quiero, let me know if you need anything mamá," I said before heading out the door.              I made it to school just in time to hear the first bell ring as I walked through the doors. I booked it to my first period, which was chemistry. I can't believe I had the worst subject of all time, for my very first class of the day. I walked in and nobody seemed to notice me              "good."   I thought to myself as I went to sit in the back of the class in an empty seat. The final bell rang and my teacher got up from her desk and walked in front of the class.          "Alright class, I'm sure you've all heard the news about Gianna Reyes. If any of you have any information regarding her last known whereabouts there's an officer in the counselors office."         "I'm right here, what are you talking about?" I said nervously. "A girl is missing, this is not a joke, you will not get in trouble, any information you have could help to find her. Now, moving on into chemistry." My teacher continued..             "I'm right here!" I yelled loudly, tears began to cloud my vision and I began to panic. What the f**k is going on, God please help me. I thought to myself. Two girls to the right of me were whispering amongst themselves, I calmed down enough and began to listen in to their conversation.      "I heard she went to a party with some college guys right before she went missing!" Girl #1 said. Hell no I didn't!"  I thought         "Really!?" exclaimed girl #2 "She wasn't even that pretty, why would college guys want to party with her!?" she said with disgust dripping from her voice. Yeah well, you're not ugly but your personality is so whatever! What a cunt...  Just as she finished the teacher, who had been behind them the whole time bent down and whispered into Girl #2's ear,          "It's not all about looks, but for what its worth, you might want to work on your brain a bit so that you can have at least one thing going for you." With her final words, she stood back up right and went to her desk to finish teaching.      "get her teach!"  I thought  "okay focus Gianna! Everyone thinks you're missing, and you're invisible. What to do!?"  i said outloud, to myself of course, since no one can see or hear me.         I ran out of the school and to my house, I lived on the street right across from the school so it wasn't that far. "Mamá!!"  I cried out, "MAMA!" I screamed again looking directly at my mother who was sitting at the kitchen table. "Mamá please..." I begged and pleaded for her to see me. I can't take this!  I started crying and begging harder, louder, more frantically. Nothing worked, I looked down at my hands as they began to dissipate into the air. Then soon, my whole body was gone.                                          Pitch Black. Gianna POV-     Suddenly I opened my eyes, I was back in the cellar.  What a weird dream, might soon be a reality if I don't figure a way out of this place. Gianna thought to herself.  I looked all around, nothing. There was nothing. It was black everywhere except for the little light that illuminated only the door.  My hands were roped to the arms of the chair, and my ankles were roped to the legs, I had a piece of cloth in my mouth to stop me from talking or screaming that wrapped around my head and tied in the back. I couldn't scream, I couldn't move, I couldn't see anything.          Oh god, I'm gonna f*****g die here. I thought in a panicked state. God please help me. Please.  I sobbed, hoping, wishing, wanting. Just then I heard a sound, the door creaked open and the man walked in, The light by the door was so dim I couldn't make out his face.              "I see the adrenaline worked, you came back to us." He said with his baritone and gruff voice.  I remember now, he killed me. He strangled me.  I sobbed some more. Oh god oh god oh god, I've already died here. He f*****g brought me back!? This sick f**k, what does he want? What did I do!?   I started desperately trying to remember anything I could've done to piss someone off. I guess I had fear all over my face.          "Oh don't worry, I'm not going to be the one to hurt you." He said, his voice was so haunting. He rubbed my cheek with his hand, "now now, it's okay. Daddy's gonna take care of you." I jerked my head away as much as I could.          "Well, If you're going to act like that, then I guess I have no choice." He said then wrapped his hands around my neck again.             No! No! No!   I began to struggle, but there isn't much for me to do, and once again, the darkness takes me.                                     Pitch Black.
