And to be honest, she felt like hell when she saw them falling in love with each other right before her eyes. She was the friend, the third wheel. At gabi gabi niya itong iniiyakan when no one else was around. Although she was genuinely happy for her friend. Ganoon kasi siya, she was extremely loyal. She also has a strong sense of justice. She would always side to those who are right. Kaya naman when her friend—Britney was in trouble she sided with her. And she literally smacked Tristan in the face dahil idineny niya ang relasyon nila ni Britney. She was an eyewitness of how happy the two of them were. How dare him deny everything. At hindi din niya iniyakan ang relasyon nilang dalawa para sa wala. But she still ended up being friends with the two of them. She was not the bridge connecting the two though. Britney made it clear to her that she doesn’t want to have anything to do with Tristan, na kahit pa nagpupumilit din ang lalaki na makakuha ng anu mang koneksyon sa dalaga ay hindi niya iyon pinagbigyan. She saw how the two tried to move on. And eventually Tristan had his eyes on her all of the sudden. Well, she could say that he diverted all his pent-up love towards her. She thought she could be that person who can make him move on. It was the happiest she could be when the two of them would go on dates. It lasted for about six months. Nguinit bigla nanlamig si Tristan. He wasn’t messaging her or even answering her calls. When she sought him out, he was in his condo unit, trying to sober up dahil kailanganb niyang sumalang sa mga interview ng mga hospital na open for Residency. He had been drinking and she knew why. Britney had been all over the news dahil isa siya sa mga pinakabatang surgical resident sa team ng GMC na tumatanggap ng mga charity cases ng gobyerno. Sa sitwasyon niya, she could have been bitter with the two of them, with Tristan for being so lost with his love for Britney that he would ignore the thing that had been going on between them and with Britney who never really gave Tristan the closure that he deserved. Ngunit it was her choice to be involved with the guy she knew who still loves his ex. Kaya wala siyang magagawa kung hindi ay tanggapin nalang ang sitwasyon. At sa katangahan niya, she actually helped Tristan sober up. She helped submit his applications to the hospitals that he wanted to be part of. The sad fact remained; Tristan’s heart wasn’t ready to love again. Kaya naman they had to talk about them. She wanted something, a solid ground to stand on in their relationship. Naaalala pa niya ang araw na iyon, it was as if it just happened mere moments ago. Tristan never really had the guts to say it on her face. What they started was sinking faster than a wrecked ship, and it was slowly and surely breaking her heart into a million different pieces.
