Twist of love

It was a bright beautiful morning , the sun was out as early as 6a.m, as it reflection could be seen trailing in from my windows, gosh I woke up late. I quickly  rise up from bed  to say my prayers. I  brush my teeth took my bath as quick as possible, put on a blue jean and a white top with a blue veil. I made myself a bottle of coffee, while allowing it to cool off, i applied little make up on my face, powder, mascara, eye liner and lipstick. With that done, i gulp my coffee which was still a little hot and gave me slight burn on my lips . i have only one lecture today, which is  8a.m.  At exactly 7:30a.m, i was done preparing herself. I walked down the road to the park to get a bus to convey me to the university. I met a long queue of students awaiting the Marco polo bus, which made me bit my lips in annoyance, I am not surprised anyway, this has always been the struggle I had to go through every morning, hence I choose to live off campus. Just then I heard someone shout my name, Sofia, Sofia. I looked in between the crowd to see my neighbour already in the queue. Good morning Becky, I greeted her and she responded back, she help me plead with the person behind her to allow me in the queue which he agreed and I couldn't have been more grateful. She was a lifesaver.   Just then the bus arrived and i found myself a sit beside the window, Becky was busy chatting with her collegues i assumed and soon I found myself lost in thought.  I am a 200level student of mass communication, I had to spend three years at home after my secondary school education before I gained admission to this institution, it is indeed a great opportunity for me to be admitted into this prestigious institution and I won't trade it for anything because I know am lucky to be among the chosen ones. So, I try to focus on my studies and give in my best, though,  just like every other girl, I also fantasize about the day that i will meet my  prince Charming who will treat me like Cinderella, and we would live happily every after. I have been in many relationship, though all seems like child play because it wasn't really serious. I am the homely kind of girl , so i plan to explore during my university days hoping that i will meet my prince charming. Having kissed many frogs in the past with no Prince in view until this very day.  The halting of the bus, brought me back to reality, I dropped from the bus and took a tricycle to my faculty. As I step into the faculty building, my wristwatch alarm beeped notifying me that i am two minutes late for the class. I looked up towards my lecturer offices which is on the first floor of my four storey faculty building, silently muttering a prayer that he should still be there. Alas my prayer got answered as i saw him step out of his office heading towards the lecture room which is at the fourth floor. Without thinking I rushed towards the stairs, giving in to my sudden sprint abilities. Amidst panting and breathing heavily I entered the class before him, find myself a seat which gave my colleagues a clue and  changed the whole scenario in the class with everyone adjusting in preparation for the class.  Professor Alex stepped into the class with his ever smiling facing but rigid heart. He is very friendly in class and passionately good in lecturing. No student prays to miss his interesting classes but never was his exam, as his questions are always very difficult and the only classmate that finished his course two minutes to submission time back in our 100level days had a F, the highest was C, no A's or B's , because of this, everyone always takes everything related to his courses extremely serious to avoid failure.
