Continuation of The Chosen Ones:

Brently Fritz Matthews has a lot of things to figure out. Though he's a Taurus, a Zodiac Sign that represents a strong-willed character with great perseverance and determination, it seems like he's losing hope all of a sudden; not in the upcoming battle where they will fight for freedom, but in the battle of love.

Brent is like a living God among other signs, with his explicit beauty and charm, he can get anyone he wants. After all, Taurus wields the power of love and attraction. But that's not the thing: he knows he's going to war with his friends and free them from the cruel world they are in, but it feels like he has another job laid for him. Just for him. It feels someone is calling for him to become a God or something, to rule the world with love and joy.

But how could he do that when everyone is in the brink of losing everything? How could he do that when he's in the brink of losing love, the one that he wants to protect all of his life? He knows Taurus plays a big role in every battle, though he's not just sure why. His power does not harm, so why would it play a big role in every battle? Even though the Taurus is not involved in any way. Brent is desperate to find out why.

Chapter 1
Chapter 1 Standing in front of the door with my chin lifted up as if to make myself as one of the best warriors, I stroll with so much fierce beside my friends as the big door has opened wide for us that leads to the Journey. Looking over at Dylan, his aura has changed ever since he has been enlightened that he's the person the prophecy is talking about. He has this aura that tells him that he's the king of all. The fact that he has his lover by his side makes them even stronger than before. I admit, Dylan is my first love, and he's my first heartbreak, considering that I never stood a chance against my rival Shawn. They are perfect for each other. As much as I want to use my power to be selfish, there are rules when it comes to Taurus. We cannot use our power just because we want to be selfish. It would be a big shame for me and my family. The love that they have for each other, it's stronger. What Shawn gives to him, it's better than what I could provide to him. I have long given up my love for Dylan because I know that we don't deserve each other, but that didn't help me to stop flirting with him because I thought - hoped - that he'd love me just like I did. My love for him, it isn't deeper, and I'm glad that I have told myself to stop before it becomes deep. The whole Pisces clan walk with ease, their weapons - swords, daggers, and some have brought water, making a river as they walk through the drought road, on their sides. The world has become darker, the sky became redder than before. The leafless trees have grown wider and taller. This world reflects the upcoming war; lifeless and dark. Coffee and Browdie are trailing behind us, going away from Albert the Scorpio. With his dark aura, a power of bringing someone to life temporary, it's a bit creepy. It seems like he's my opposite. I reflect life wherein he reflects death; at least that's what I can see. His eyes meet mine and a shiver run downs my spine and I look away. A presence beside me shocks me as Albert takes a stroll beside me. My eyes grow wide as he winks at me, a playful smirk tugs on his lips. I roll my eyes. "What did I do?" He asks me dumbfounded, turning his body, so he could face me fully. Shawn and the others look at my direction, trying to see what's happening. I wave them off, smiling when I meet Dylan's eyes that have captivated me in the first place. "Hey." He touches me and it feels like I've been burned as his skin makes contact with mine. I jump slightly, frowning at him. "So much hate." "I don't hate you," I say as he looks at me with his dark eyes, through his lashes. Though the caller of his eyes are chestnut, and it's beautiful, it seems full of darkness. Albert is attractive; with his messy brown hair and a growing facial hair, he looks more mature than I am. But that doesn't mean that I'm attracted to him. He scoffs, rolling his eyes as if I'm joking. I'm telling the truth. I can never hate someone. It's one of my natures. "Really. I don't. You're just creeping me out because I think you're my opposite." He tilts his head, his hair falling to the side as he stares at me with so much curiosity. "Opposite?" Nodding my head, I slow down my face, so he can keep up with me. From what I remember, he's just the same age as me - 20 years old. But I think I'm older than him. I can take a look but resist the urge to do so. Albert will not appreciate if I access a part of his head without permission. He's figure is just the same as mine, though I'm a bit muscled compared to him. "Yes." "In what way?" He asks. Coffee makes his way towards me, his buddy Browdie trailing behind him. Coffee walks around me, his head brushing against my pants and I lean down, scratching his muzzle and do the same with Browdie. Though Browdie doesn't like anyone except Shawn, Dylan and I, I did use my power on him just a bit, making him realize that I do not mean harm. Albert's stare burns at the back of my head, and I know that he's still waiting for my answer. I stand up, shooing both pets, and they run around Shawn and Dylan, who chuckle at their childish behaviors. Wondering if I should tell him or not because I'm thinking if it would offend him or not, I stare at him with blank emotion. He looks at me curiously, waiting for my answer, his chest doesn't heave up and down compared to my chest, who is rising and falling spasmodically. "It seems like you represent death where I represent life. You have this power that can wake the dead, a blue fire can light up just with the flick of your fingers. What I do, I give life to people by making them happy." "Then give me life," he says seriously, his eyes so cold that it makes me shiver once again. It looks like he's carrying a lot of bad stuff in his heart, which made him this way. I look away from him, not really liking his tone and all. It feels like he could just rip me easily just by punching me with hate. "Life is not just about being happy." Though Albert is the one to show emotions, it feels like he has been keeping secrets. Life is not just about being happy. Then what else? That's what I know. You have been born so you can feel happiness and give happiness to people. The old people back in my home have told me about that phrase several times. But it seems like Albert is bearing and believing a different phrase in his life. From being pissed, Albert has become silent once again as he moves forward, leaving me behind. I look at his retreating figure, and his shoulders and back look tensed. Moving forward, my eyes focus on Albert as he strides his way, his hands clasped behind his back. He looks over my shoulder and when he sees me looking, he immediately turns his head forward, ignoring me completely. That makes me frown. It's not like I have insulted him. In fact, I didn't do anything. I just told him the reason why he creeps me out, and he asked why. I just answered his question, so he doesn't have the right to be mad at me just because he asked a question, and he definitely didn't want the answer. It's not my fault. Beige takes the place where Albert has been, and he gives me the look of confusion. I just shrug. "What happened?" Shrugging again, I don't feel like talking anymore, so when Beige gets the idea, he immediately shuts up. Beige is the smart one, from the town of Capricorn. He walks beside me, his lean arms swinging back and forth. I lift my hand, taking a look at my hand when the pink particles become visible, surrounding my hand as if it's a playground for them. I've been using these particles to move things and so and they only appear when I want to use my power. I point my index finger at Albert's direction and it shoots quickly, hitting him on his back and Albert turns around, glaring at me and I pretend that I don't know anything just by staring straight ahead. He ignores me and I roll my eyes. "You like him, don't you?" Beige says as he looks at me, arching a brow. I scoff. I do not like him. "Shut up, lover boy." I tease him, clasping my hands in front of him and pink particles swirl around my hands. "I don't like him, but you sure do love Cooper." He seems so shocked that I know that there's something going on between him and Cooper. Back in the cave, they were sharing a look that nobody but me could see. They love each other. Since Taurus is a personification love, I have absolute control of that. I know when someone's in love. I know when someone's about to fall in love. Yet that didn't stop me from falling in love with Dylan. Beige mutters under his breath, scowling. I roll my eyes at him, slinging my arm around his shoulders. I smile at him, chuckling as a blush covers his cheeks. "Don't worry buddy, you'll see the man of your life once again." We keep walking but people are growing tired. Sooner or later, we might sit down to take a rest. The sky is still the same, bloody and creepy. Soon enough, we will face the creatures that attacked us when we were travelling through the Journey, and since we're many, we will never run anymore.
